| We can all remember getting wrapped up warm and playing in the
snow at Christmas time. Childhood memories of little red robins
on frosty days are part of our soul and these moments are beautifully
captured in the wintertime piece showing a little girl wrapped up
snug and warm and enjoying the great outdoors.
The size of the biggest doll is approx. 16.5 cm (approx. 6.6 inches)
Hand turned moulds made from Linden tree, and the high quality wood
had to mature for two years before made into moulds by a Russian
wood turner in the village near Polkhov Maidan, Russia
The set is of a traditional Matryoshka shape and is absolutely
beautiful. It has a very calming and soft feel to it. The girls’
faces are very pretty with their huge eyes and detailed features.
The girls are lovingly holding a bunch of daisies which they have
probably collected in the forest. Very tender set of Russian dolls
created by a true artist. We are very proud to be the only shop
in the UK where this beautiful set can be purchased.
