| The main doll is a classic Semenov Russian doll, made with the
best traditions of Semenov paintings when not all wood is painted
over. The small dolls are small, cute and fun. They are all smooth
and bright. Nice to touch, hold and place in rows for counting.
The Mother doll of 16 cm high (6.4’) is hollow inside, it opens
and can hide inside all 10 of his kids. To hide them inside, the
little dolls can be put separately into the main body of the main
doll and into the head if they all do not fit into the body after
they have been taken out once. The height of each doll is around
4.5 cm (1.8’). The set was made from linden tree and hand painted
in Semenov factory in Russia. It has varnish finish.
This is one of the sets from our carefully chosen collection of
educational Russian dolls, which can be great visual study aids
for teaching numeracy and counting up to ten. This is not a toy,
but an educational souvenir and children must be supervised at all
times when you teach them about shapes and numbers as well as how
to count, add and subtract using our sets of educational Russian
nesting dolls.
There are so many games you can play with your children and have
fun with our educational Russian dolls.
Some ideas:
1) Hide different dolls from the educational set in different places
and then look for them, count them and hide them back inside of
the main doll.
2 ) Make your child get used to one Doll first and teach them number
one. Then in several days take out the second doll from our educational
set and teach your child number two, then in several days take out
the third doll and so on, until they learn all ten numbers.
3 ) You can have fun with older children teaching them simple adding
and deducting within number ten using these educational Russian
dolls.
As all our Russian dolls are hand painted by artists there may be variations
and differences between those pictured on our website and the ones
you will receive. Please note that there may be some bright spots
on pictures of Russian dolls on our website, resulting from photo
camera flash and lights. The actual Russian dolls that you will
receive will not have any of those spots.
