set is made from Linden tree, there are various paints used with
a varnish finish.
This set of Russian dolls is made in a traditional Matryoshka shape.
The faces are very pretty and detailed. They are of a round shape
beautiful framed in shawl and traditional Russian “kokoshnik” headwear.
The large shawl covers the girls’ heads as well as shoulders; it
is nicely decorated in pretty patterns and bright colours.
The looks and faces of the dolls change with size with the biggest
one being the mother, with big eyes and beautiful long eyelashes,
small mouth with full lips, with the smallest doll being just a
little girl.

As all our Russian dolls are hand painted by artists there may be variations
and differences between those pictured on our website and the ones
you will receive. Every doll is unique as artists tend to add something
different to each and every doll set they paint. All our Russian
dolls are hollow inside (apart from the last, smallest doll of each
set), they all open in half and fit inside each other.
Please note that there may be some bright spots on the pictures of some Russian dolls on our website, resulting from photo camera flash and
lights. The actual Russian dolls that you will receive will not
have any of those spots.
